President Hinckley remains hospitalized

I just saw this release at the church Web site. I know Guy Murray has covered this hospitalization and surrounding stories at his blog (here, here, and here). Any thoughts or additional insights on President Hinckley’s recent health issues?

BYU Men’s Hoops continues to not stink — but where are the fans?

The BYU Men’s Basketball team picked up its first conference road win on Saturday, squeaking by CSU by two points (see also here, here, and here). The win places the Cougs firmly in the middle of the the pack in the Mountain West Conference at 4-3 and gives the Cougs a respectable 12-6 record overall. With nine games left in the regular season and the MWC tournament after that, a twenty win season is not completely out of the question. That is a remarkable fact considering this is a team that won a total of nine games last season and was picked to finish dead last in conference this year. (more…)

Steve Jones and 911 back in the news

I thought twice about posting this given the previous thread about Steve Jones and how it progressed. Still news is news. Steve Jones is back in the news again with a Deseret News article about him. Apparently he and several other scholars have formed a group all about the World Trade Building claims. He apparently is giving a talk at UVSC Wednesday (Feb 1st) on his thoughts about 911.
