Best Blogger -- Julie Smith, Rosalynde Welch
Sorely Missed -- Arwyn (Imagination's Fool/Monastery of Idealism)
Unsung Hero -- Stephen (Ethesis)
Commenter -- Prudence McPrude (who makes me laugh consistently)

I'd nominate that "T&S goes Millennial Star" gag as the April Fool's Joke of the year, but a) there's not that many jokes that could win, and b) it was so well done I had to be told it was a joke. And that's only partly because I was looking at the site without nearly enough sleep.

I don't care what category you put him in, but please, PLEASE, give Jeff Lindsay over at Mormanity an award! Any time my mom comes at me with some factoid about why I am insane to be Mormon, Jeff helps me bail myself out. Give the man a ribbon- I know I am not the only one!

Well, that's the BCC batch (by the way, where has HL Rogers gone?). More to come...

Best blog: Times and Seasons
Best small blog: A Motley Vision
Best blogger: Russell Arben Fox; Patricia Gunter Karamesines; Adam Greenwood

Best thing about the bloggernacle 2005: high quality stuff--your average month or two of the best blogs sometimes has more good stuff than an installment of Dialogue and BYU Studies. Recent RSR discussion is a prime example.

Worst thing about the bloggernacle 2005: self-referentiality, poor discussion threads (problems with blogging in general to be sure)
Unsung hero: the family members and others who have demands upon the time of prolific bloggers and commenters(j/k).
