RJH at the BYU
I’m giving a faculty lecture on Friday at BYU (JSB 382), reporting on my FARMS-sponsored research on ancient Near Eastern apiculture (in light of Ether 2:3). The lecture is open to the public, but it’s at 8am so coffee-starved lay Mormons may be in short supply. Nevertheless, I would love to meet some of my bloggernacle pals and sparring partners. I will be staying with John C. in Orem and John Fowles in SLC.

Hi Ronan- 8 am in Provo is impossible for me as well. But I really wish I could come hear about your research. I live not too far from the Fowles though. Would love to come over and say hi when you’re there. Shoot me an email about scheduling if interested.

That sounds like a cool lecture. I’d get up at 8:00 to hear it. I won’t spend $300 on a plane ticket, though.

I propose a Salt Lake Bloggernacle gathering in honor of Ronan’s visit. Let’s say 7:00 pm at my place on Friday, November 4. Email me for the address. It’s been a year since the last time we had a Bloggernacle gathering at my place (literally one year ago right about now)–that time in honor of D. Fletcher’s visit to SLC.
