The Mormon Archipelago was born, first as an association of small blogs then the Portal of Choice for the Bloggernacle; Banner of Heaven imploded and was featured in the Salt Lake Tribune; BCC joined forces with Dialogue; FMH found its way into the New York Times; and Snarkernacle began satirizing the whole project. Oh, and the Niblets appeared like lightening from heaven:

Results are in for the Niblets. There have been a few outright victories, but many of the races have been within the margin of ballot-stuffing error. We are therefore going to have a final run-off vote.

Rationale? First, Wilfried’s “Coffee” post was mistakenly left off the ballot and so we had to re-run that category anyway. Second, “honest in all your dealings” doesn’t necessarily translate to blogpolls (half of the votes for me as best blogger came from my dad, sister, and best mate, all of whom don’t even read the blogs!) Yep, I know the game: one vote from home, one from work, one from your BlackBerry, and one from grandma. In a race as earth-shatteringly important as this, justice and truth must prevail!

Anyway, where polls were within 5% they are now in the run-off. The Great and Final Awards will be announced in the new year via a special Zeitcast (along with scintillating punditry and analysis). You have until January 7.
