This Semi-Week in the ‘Nacle – 2/28/06
Hello again. First of all, Congratulations are in order.
- Beth, at TftC, has just given birth.
- Also, the child of the minds at A Motley Vision has been recognized for its brilliance (and deservedly so).
Secondly, please note that the opinions expressed within this are solely those of the author. Patent pending.
But enough magnamity and legalese, let us see what this semi-week hath wrought
- Eliza R. Snow begins a stint as a guest blogger for Exponent II.
- Naiah, at FMH (temporarily), is apparently okay with polygamy (as is, I guess, Serenity Valley). That is, of course, the sort of polygamy that would exist if we were all incapable of having our feelings hurt and simultaneously were all gung-ho about polygamy (at least, as far as Naiah is concerned). My theory: Naiah has Bill Paxton on the brain.
- Caroline, another guest-poster at FMH, writes about a less-than-ideal temple experience. The comments thereunto have featured more sound than fury, despite predictions to the otherwise.
- Also, Rebecca, in a FMH trifecta, is clearly upset with the adulation she has received in these parts of late. To get rid of her goody-two-shoes image, she writes about poop. Let’s hear it for the good women of the bloggernacle, who keep us focused on the things that matter.
- And in our final FMH post, Lisa writes insightfully about a white suburban LDS response to Black History Month.
- Frank, at T&S, neglected to point out that the bankruptcy problem in Utah wasn’t financial, it was moral.
- Meanwhile, Ronan reminds us that doctrinal debate is good, but Christian action is better.
- Wilfried, as always, opens our eyes to the beautiful in the gospel.
- Mathoni, at correct principles, is trying to put Robert Kirby out of his day job.
- Heather O. and Adam Greenwood debate the possibilities of adoption, each in their own moving way.
- Finally, there is this. If the Snarker is looking to adopt a new persona …
Have a safe couple of days and we’ll meet back on Friday.

Bill Paxton–you know it!
Hahahaha, that was wicked funny. You could give the Snarker a run for his/her/its money, with extra points for style and class! Well done.
Is it really only wednesday?

Well said, Naiah.
BTW, Naiah, glad to see your meteoric rise in the nacle continues.
And John, Adam Ant is my first musical memory. Glad to see him linked to my fine wife!

Thank goodness John!! I was being weighed down by all the pressure from the praise you were laying on me! I need to be poked fun at every now and then so I don’t get a big head!

I enjoy these types of postings. I get lost, but I find things I might not ordinarily stumble upon.
