Weekly Zeitgeist
Sorry for the late posting, friends. But it has been a darned busy week in the Bloggernacle!
Good to see we were getting back to normal this week:
- John Hatch, in typical style, predicts the apocalypse.
- Ryan Bell tries again to justify his lustings.
- Jordan Fowles picks his husband over his kids.
- William Morris reviews “one of the best works of mormon fiction to appear so far,” clearly ignoring other contenders.
- Ned Flanders just sits back and takes it when people attack the Church.
- RoastedTomatoes takes the 13th Article of Faith WAY too seriously.
A nice round mix, people. Good work! Keep it up. BCC only had a few posts that week, mostly fluff pieces as usual, so no Zeitgeist for you! Instead, I’ll give it to the Latter-day Saint Liberation Front, a consistently funny and thought-provoking site. Top themes this week:
- Church history;
- Marriage;
- Lust;
- Doctrinal exploration; and
- Politics.
Curelom, my
bloggernacle familiar,
predicted “a return to hedonism, financial matters, and the arm of flesh.” Good curelom! Nice predictions. But this week? Hmmm. More innane speculation, some interpersonal conflicts aired inappropriately, and perhaps a testimony or two. I give the prediction to Feminist Mormon Housewives.

Zeitgeist Nazi?

Jordan can be so temperamental sometimes. Ahh, women.
